Lopergolo + Bartling are engaged to assist MoMI with several projects which include upgrades to MoMI's theatres, lobby and café in additional to a courtyard re-design and a DASNY-funded project to design a new Emerging Technologies lab, research center, and exhibition space—the first of its kind in the NYC area.
The Emerging Technologies Lab, opening June 2026, will be built in an underused area on the museum's lower level and when open will be accessible to the public as well as artists and educators.
